World of the OutcastHis heart by way of pale moonlight
Is guided swiftly through the night
A shadowed streak
So strong and fleet
To steal his form from wary sight

His calloused mind of noble aim
Does disregard their shallow shame
Alone he stands
Before the land
Made wise and bare from mortal pain

He watches all from shadows dark
His morbid soul now steeled and stark
No pleading brine
Can bend his mind
Nor alter course where left his mark

What others see they take no heed
By way the temper of his deed
His feeble kind
They undermine
For such the way his acts mislead

Yet none could all his strife have known
Borne for the world he made his own

ReflectionsWaiting thinking at the shore
Where water waves and laps
In peace there walks the mind once more
Back through a murky past

The tranquil sounds the soul surrounds
And reverse the flows of time
Once more appears familiar ground
Once locked within the mind

Shining eyes so deep and wise
And smiles warm and bright
Voices thrum and drum and sigh
And sing their son good night

A young boy stands aside alone
While others run and play
His lonely place so cruelly shown
By difference cast away

The pain at first, so hard to bear
Now slowly ebbs and wanes
His difference now beyond his care
He leaves behind the game

In time he finds his

Wise the StreamCome now young and gentle stream
And take me far away
Let my avid ears now ring
With what you have to say

Tell me how you came to be
From the home you left behind
Speak of what you hope to see
And what you've come to find

Tell me how we are apart
Then show me we're akin

Of murk from stagnance borne

The Wingless DragonLong the ancient war did keep
So strong the peaceful peace to reap
But peace disbanded
By maddened hand
From harbored wounds cut clean and deep

From forth the fabled city Marague
Where reigned the wizened elder Scaug
There hatched a youth
Of claw and tooth
Whose malice spread like deadly fog

Upon the mighty river's brink
Where stooped wise Scaug to catch a drink
The moment fit
The youth was quick
Into old memory did the monarch sink

Vaer, the youth, and old Scaug's bane
Who at the river's edge had slain
With maddened mind
And heart unkind
The master city's throne thus claimed

For several years he ruled the land
The tyrant

Spirit of the NightHe hoots his song into the night
His ghostly form an eerie sight
Yet still in dreams
I share his wings
And rise with him in silent flight

The Eye of the TigerIs there one born too of stone
That to such beauty may rise?
Is there one whose eyes have shone
The tears of light it cries?

How could any seek to meet
The beauty locked within?
How could any tempt the feat
To think themselves akin

To the lustrous tiger's eye

Would the quartz dare take the flames
That through thine depths let fly?
Would the quartz dare stake the claims
Your grace and depth to vie?

That such a stone your equal seek
Would not it be a sin?
Whose murky depths are dull and bleak
By extreme comparison

To the beautiful tiger's eye

I was never physically bullied, but I was teased and picked on and I still sometimes am. I know what it's like and it sucks. Nice picture too.

Yeah I was bullied, too, though for the most part it consisted of mental assaults. The weird ones tend to stick out, and persons of young age tend to jump at the opportunity of being able to point out differences and peculiarities in character. But now I have found a whole community composed of people who were "different", and you know what? I think we are stronger now for our differences than any "normal" person could ever hope to be without them! Viva la Artists! Viva la DA!!
